It is difficult to imagine that a remote village not more than five kilometre across, has so much to offer. Khajuraho is cosmopolitan- young kids speaking foreign languages with ease, rooftop restaurants serving mouth-watering pizzas are only some of them. The spectacular temples (which are also UNESCO world heritage sites), the amazing eateries and the artefact shops make it a top destination in any traveler’s list. We were visiting our family in Guwahati and thought of making a day trip closeby.  Having visited several times, Shillong was not a preferred option.
